Swanbank Landfill
Queensland, Australia
The Swanbank Landfill has been established to provide an integrated waste management system for the South-East Queensland region. The system currently includes a landfill located adjacent to the Swanbank Power Station near Ipswich, on the disused open cut coal mine and transfer stations at Rocklea and Northgate in Brisbane.
