SACL, Australia’s largest airport, has over AUS$3.7 billion in non-current assets. For a number of years Maunsell has provided various levels of engineering and management services to SACL.

Maunsell has undertaken detailed asset condition reports to assist in the sale of the airport. Based on the information in the reports, Maunsell was asked to prepare asset management plans for the marine structures and the elevated roadways and bridges on the airport.

SACL has also engaged Maunsell to undertake a variety of design projects for the airport including taxiway and apron drainage designs and investigation into terminal earthquake resilience and cathodic protection systems.

Maunsell has been engaged in the preparation of numerous asset valuations for the whole of the airport. Most recently a re-valuation of assets was completed to the International Accounting Standards.
