National Marine Dredging Company New Base Offices and Facilities

The National Marine Dredging Company New Base Offices is located at Mussafah, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Maunsell was responsible for the design and construction supervision of the new marine base and office facilities with all infrastructure.

The contract comprises onshore facilities including a main office building, all support buildings such as plant workshops, welding shops, electrical /BMS building, stores building, three sub-stations including stand-by generator system, on-off lading ramps, roads and hard standing areas of Asphalt, as well as concrete surfaces, and landscaping. It also includes a complete wharf, consisting of a 300-meter multi-purpose berth, a vessel slipway with hydraulic winch systems with power pack for repair and maintenance, and a pipe slipway with electrical winch system.

All of the workshops buildings are with over-head cranes of 30T/10T cranes, and other facilities such as electrical isolators with EICB etc,
