Indigenous Housing and Infrastructure Projects

Maunsell is working with indigenous communities in Queensland and New South Wales, Australia to deliver project management services aimed at improving environmental health and living conditions.

Under Australian Commonwealth and State Government funded programs issues such as housing, water supply, sewerage, power supply and waste disposal are being addressed by Maunsell in communities at Maclean, Wee Waa, Pilliga, Boggabilla Toomelah and Rockhampton. A major project goal is to generate training and employment opportunities for local indigenous people. Maunsell is working with these communities to enhance skills so that they are in a stronger position to manage their own assets such as housing.
