Maunsell is regarded as one of Australasia's foremost infrastructure management and valuation consultants for both public and private sector infrastructure owners. We work in association with registered valuers Quotable Value NZ (registered valuers) to provide a complete Asset Portfolio Valuation service.

We have a track record of producing high quality and reputable infrastructure valuations demonstrated by the absence of any material follow-up queries relating to our valuations from either our clients, Audit NZ or the Valuer General.

As well as co-authoring Optimised Deprival Valuation Handbooks for the New Zealand and New South Wales electricity industries and the New Zealand gas industry, Maunsell has been closely involved in the development of local government infrastructure accounting and valuation standards in New Zealand as principal consultants for:

• New Zealand Infrastructure Asset Valuation and Depreciation Guidelines 2001 (in association with Ernst & Young)
• National training for the NZ Infrastructure Asset Valuation and Depreciation Guidelines 2001
• New Zealand Infrastructure Asset Management Manual 1996
• Infrastructure Asset Management Manual Supplement - Accounting and Valuation 1998

The National Valuation of Utilities for inclusion on District Valuation Rolls, in association with Quotable Value NZ, has further strengthened our track record nationally with local activities as a result of the success in cost effectively getting co-operation from private sector utility owners (including electricity, gas and telecommunications) within the deadlines set by the Valuer General.

In addition to the above national projects, Maunsell has undertaken infrastructure valuations for more than 80 public and private organisations, covering the following infrastructure networks:
