Hidden Valley is a 1000 ha rural property, about an hour's drive from Melbourne.

The development comprises 950 residential properties of varying sizes from estates of 75 hectares to lakeside villas and 'homesteads' of 1-2 hectares.
 
The rural setting was once a renowned horse stud and retains much of its original beauty and landscaping.  A key focus of the development has been the recognition of the importance of the open countryside.  Thus specific ribbons of higher density allotments have been created, allowing retention of public space and recreation land within the design.

Hidden Valley includes an 18 hole golf course, man-made lakes, an equestrian centre and other leisure facilities.

Maunsell has been involved with the project since its inception providing services to the early feasibility and planning stages and providing civil design services to the client.

Maunsell's design work has included roads, drainage, water, wastewater, gas and electricity and communications.

The client has also utilised Maunsell's services in supervision of contracts and construction including leisure facilities and golf course earthworks.
