Cansult Maunsell

Cansult Maunsell was formed in October 2006, when Cansult Limited merged with the AECOM family of companies to join with Maunsell operations in the Middle East. The combined company names signify the market strengths of both brands, under the world-leading AECOM banner. With nearly 1,500 employees, Cansult Maunsell is one of the largest engineering consulting firms in the Arabian Gulf and is AECOM’s first operating company in the region.

Cansult Maunsell’s extensive portfolio of projects includes signature projects such as the Al Raha Beach Development, the Abu Dhabi Trade Centre, Danet Abu Dhabi, bridges for the Dubai Sheraton & Gulf Gate, Jumeirah Beach Development, the Etisalat Tower, Abu Dhabi Tourist Club and the district cooling for the $3.5 billion Dubai Metro Project.

Cansult Maunsell has offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Doha and Al Ain. As AECOM’s lead operating company in the Arabian Gulf, Cansult Maunsell is positioned to expand its operational reach to take advantage of future market opportunities in the rapidly developing region.

Cansult Maunsell is currently aligning its strong presence in the Arabian Gulf marketplace with AECOM’s global networks, to leverage from AECOM’s international resources and to broaden AECOM’s coverage.

Cansult Maunsell’s capabilities include project management and engineering with a focus on transportation, buildings, infrastructure, and urban developments.

Prior to the merger, Cansult Maunsell and Maunsell were equally recognised as two of the region’s leading engineering consulting firms, both with more than 40 years of service in the Arabian Gulf. Cansult Maunsell is now building a world class reputation based on the well established client relationships and local understandings founded by both firms.
